Here again we see the bloody carnage of the hard left ginning up their base to kill. Last year, SPLC member tried to kill Family Research Council president Tony Perkins. And now yesterday’s passover slaughter in Kansas. The vicious left aligned with the jihad force incited follower Glenn Miller to murder. Mr. Miller himself, a proud Ku Klux Klan leader and avowed antisemite, found inspiring words from the one Jew he likes–Max Blumenthal. His rants were filled with the antisemitic tripe of Walt and Mearsheimer, John B. Judis and other realists and leftists, whose writings are filled with the same disdain for “neo-conservatives” who are always described as “warmongering.”

As we've seen with the murders committed by Democrat suspect Frazier Glenn Miller, Jr., the ideological left is literally intent on a new Holocaust for the 21st century. Prosecutors said Monday that they would file hate-crime charges against a white supremacist accused of killing three people outside a Jewish Community Center and at a nearby retirement community in a suburb of Kansas City, Mo.

Speaking at a news conference on Monday in the suburb of Overland Park, Kan., the authorities said that the charges would be filed against Frazier Glenn Miller, 73, of Aurora, Mo., who had spoken and written frequently over the years about his hatred for Jews, blacks, immigrants and others.

Prosecutors declined to say when Mr. Miller, who is also known as Frazier Glenn Cross, will be formally charged, but said the case would be presented to a grand jury.

“We believe this to be a hate crime,” the Overland Park police chief, John Douglass, said. “We believe his motivation was to attack a Jewish facility.”

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights organization that tracks hate groups, said Mr. Cross was the founder and grand dragon of the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan...

Yes, the Ku Klux Klan, which is a Democrat Party fraternal organization going back to the Reconstruction era. Klan Democrats voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1964, because they reviled blacks, and their top Senate cyclops still served into the 21st century. Three Killed at Jewish Centers Near Kansas City — New York Times Reporting

Here's the story at the country's unofficial newspaper of record (for the record), "Man Kills 3 at Jewish Centers in Kansas City Suburb":

A man opened fire outside a Jewish Community Center and a nearby retirement community in a suburb of Kansas City, Mo., on Sunday afternoon, killing three people before he was taken into custody.

The man, who was identified as Frazier Glenn Cross of Aurora, Mo., in Johnson County booking records. He was charged with first-degree murder and was scheduled to appear in court Monday afternoon.

The suspect, 73, is a former Ku Klux Klan leader with a history of anti-Semitism and racism, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights organization that tracks hate groups. It identified him as Frazier Glenn Miller, 73, commonly known as Glenn Miller, and said he was the founder and grand dragon of the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.

The shootings took place in Overland Park, Kan., a major suburb located just across the state line from Kansas City, Mo. Overland Park is the second-biggest city in Kansas and has a population of about 170,000.

A doctor and his 14-year-old grandson were killed in the parking lot at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City and a woman was killed a short time later in a parking lot at Village Shalom, a senior living community about a mile away, the police said.

Mr. Miller was taken into custody on Sunday afternoon at a local elementary school near Village Shalom, the police said. In video taken by KMBC, a local television station, the suspect yelled “Heil Hitler!” while sitting in a police car.

The Southern Poverty Law Center said it sued Mr. Miller in the 1980s for intimidating African-Americans, and he has had several run-ins with the law since then. He served six months in prison after he was held in criminal contempt for violating the terms of the court order that settled that lawsuit. He also served three years in federal prison for weapons charges and for plotting robberies and the assassination of the center’s founder, Morris Dees. As part of his plea bargain, he testified against other Klan leaders in a 1988 trial.

The police said it was too early in the investigation to determine whether the attacks were a hate crime...

The Times mentions that Miller "made several unsuccessful runs for public office," although specifically omitting that he first ran as a Democrat in South Carolina's gubernatorial primary in 1984. (More at the link, FWIW.)

NBC News picked up Miller's KKK partisanship, as Instapundit points out, "NBC NEWS: KANSAS CITY SHOOTER IS FORMER DEMOCRAT GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE, KLANSMAN. Okay, they pushed the Democrat part down a ways in the story. Can you imagine the glee at the SPLC, though? They’ll fundraise off this for a decade."

Yeah, they just pushed that part way down, but at least they got it in there.

Forgetting Freedom on Passover

For instance, last week we saw the growing tyranny of gay activists. Under assault from homosexual thought police, the Mozilla Corporation of Firefox browser fame fired its CEO Brendan Eich because he once contributed $1,000 to a campaign to block the legalization of homosexual marriage in California.

Eich’s firing was only the latest assault by gay rights bullies on private citizens who oppose their goals. The aim of these assaults is to silence all opposition to their agenda using the tools of social ostracism and intellectual terror...

We are in a new Inquisition. Self-appointed censors try to stamp out any idea or word that they don't wish to be aired – in the pursuit of a new race, class, gender and environment orthodoxy.

Hounding out people with different views is seen by the Left as a necessary means to achieve its supposedly noble goals – just like the Spanish Inquisitioners who claimed God was on their side as they went after religiously “incorrect” Jews, Muslims and heretics.

Unfortunately, the Obama administration has been part of the problem, not part of the solution. Its appointees used the once-impartial IRS against conservatives. They monitored Associated Press reporters. They denied that the NSA was eavesdropping on average citizens. They arbitrarily chose not to enforce laws they didn't like.

The president bragged of using “a pen and phone” to circumvent the legislative branch, and urged his supporters to “punish our enemies.” The attorney general calls Americans who have different views from his own on matters of affirmative action “cowards.”

All of that them/us rhetoric has given a top-down green light to radical thought police to harass anyone who is open-minded about man-caused global warming, or believes that gay marriage needs more debate, or that supporting Israel is a legitimate cause, or that breaking federal immigration law is still a crime and therefore “illegal.”

Our civil liberties will not be lost to crude fascists in jackboots. More likely, the death of free speech will be the work of the new medieval Torquemadas who claim they destroyed freedom of expression for the sake of “equality” and “fairness” and “saving the planet.”

Torquemadas. Heh, I love that.
